so i think i finally have a wedding venue
and then it turns out they don't allow alcohol!
stupid state parks!
arg! all other venues annoy me or are too expensive
is it so much to ask to have a pretty place were i don't have to use their caterer and spent a butt load of money!
this is why we talked about eloping in the first place
i'm stupid for choosing other wise.

springish
i've been garden happy the past few days, i'm determined to actually grow a bunch of food this year.
so far i have prepared most of my garden bed, with homemade compost (of course) and laid out the garden in a square footish method using the many stones and pavers scattered around the house.
so far i've planted a bunch of potatoes, some onions, carrots and corn.
i've also planted some cosmos in front of the house, mixed in with the freesia i got from mrs.m.
and some dill, basil, cilantro and black cumin seeds in my herb pots in the back yard
also my awesome fella brought home a gnome for our garden the other night, he's quite adorable and watches over things for me while i'm not in the garden.
one of the few veggies that actually worked out for us last year is this swiss chard (yard chard i call it) . it's a huge plant and i'm trying to use as much of it as possible before it bolts.
today i gave some to mrs.m. when she was over.
if the sun hadn't have gone down i'd still be outside, i hope all of you spent some time out side today, lovely days like this don't last long in texas it will be hot before we know it.
